Review Process
Papers published in the Conference Proceedings are selected through a double-blind peer review process, coordinated through the SACAM Scientific Committee.
In summary:
- Camera ready extended abstracts are submitted to the SACAM 2012 website using the template for blind review (please find the template under the Author Centre Tab)
- Extended abstracts are electronically distributed to at least 2 anonymous reviewers by the Scientific Committee
- Reviewer comments and recommendations are returned to the authors.
- Camera ready full papers are submitted to the SACAM 2012 website using the template for blind paper review (please find the template under the Author Centre Tab)
- Papers are electronically distributed to at least 2 anonymous reviewers by the Scientific Committee
- Reviewer comments and recommendations are returned to the authors.
- Final camera ready extended abstracts are submitted to the SACAM 2012 website using the template for Conference Book Abstract – authors details added (please find the template under the Author Centre Tab)
- Final camera ready full papers are to be submitted within 2 weeks of return for inclusion in the final proceedings of the conference.
Submissions that do not conform to the style guidelines will not be reviewed, but will be returned to the submitting author. No late submissions will be accepted. At least one of the authors of papers accepted for the conference is required to attend and present at the conference. If none of the authors attend the conference to present the paper, the paper will be removed from the conference proceedings.
A book of extended Abstracts will be made available to delegates at conference registration. Peer reviewed papers will be published in the conference proceedings and distributed after the conference.
